Pip makes his way to Parliament square

July 26, 2019
  • On Thursday 25th July, in record breaking hot temperatures Pip the Penguin who is the Parenting Project mascot bravely made his way to Parliament square.  He went in the hope of highlighting the issues surrounding parent and child mental health to those MPs in attendance at the final debate – Reform of the Mental Health act 1983, before summer recess.

Pip and colleagues from the Parenting Project was given so much support from passers-by wanting to know more about what we want to achieve:  More funding to support the mental health needs of parents and children.

Pip is hoping to return to London soon with a petition which will demonstrate the vital need for more counselling, family support, mental health and anxiety workshops.
