Who we are

  • Who do you work with?

We work closely with a wide range of people from a wide range of organisations and agencies. The health professionals we work alongside include Health Visitors and Midwives, Speech and Language Therapists, Dieticians and School Nurses.

We also work with people from Children’s Services, Job Centre Plus, Family Information Service, and organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau and Credit Union.

  • To improve the life experiences and outcomes of children, young people and their families by providing services and support at a time when they are most needed

    How can we get involved?

We encourage all parents who attend groups or courses to give us feedback on how they feel it has benefited them and how we can improve. If you would like to take a more active part in sharing your views and shaping the way the project develops, you are welcome to join our Advisory Board, which meet to discuss ideas and shape the future of individual Centres.  For more information please contact your local Children’s Centre Manager. There are also plenty of opportunities to be involved through volunteering. This is great if you would like to gain more skills and experience, want to improve your confidence, or want to make a real difference.
